Residence Hall Peer Advisor

Residence Hall Peer advisors work collaboratively alongside CCAS professional advisors in one or more of our residence hall drop-in advising locations: Dejope, Witte, Sellery, Chadbourne, and Ogg. Peer advisors facilitate drop-in advising conversations with students and perform a variety of organizational tasks for their CCAS residence hall offices.

SOAR Peer Advisor

CCAS SOAR Peers work collaboratively with professional advisors to do the following:

  • facilitate 1:1 and group conversations with incoming students about their academic transition to UW-Madison
  • Teach students how to use enrollment tools and explore academic opportunities
  • Consistently contribute towards a positive student experience at SOAR
