We offer 1-on-1 appointments and drop-ins for undergraduate students in multiple office locations year-round. Students can meet with us all across campus! Click the buttons below to learn more about how to get advising with CCAS:
Schedule an Appointment Drop-In Advising
For Prospective students (not yet admitted): Please contact our front office at ccas@ccas.wisc.edu or 608-265-5460 to discuss questions.
For Admitted/Incoming students (not yet enrolled): Admitted students will meet with an advisor and enroll in courses during their SOAR session. All students will also be assigned an academic advisor after SOAR.

Open the Starfish tile in MyUW. Click your advisor’s profile under “Your Connections” to begin scheduling an appointment.
Students not assigned to CCAS:
Use our CCAS Starfish Calendar link below to schedule an appointment with any CCAS advisor with upcoming availability.
Students completing the re-entry process:
Submit an Appointment Request Form below. Our front office staff will schedule you with an advisor for a meeting.

Drop-in Advising
Residence Halls
Drop-ins are offered across 5 residence halls Monday-Thursday, 12:30 pm-4:30 pm when Fall & Spring classes are in session. Drop-in advising are typically 10-minute conversations, and no appointment is needed. All students are welcome to visit any location!

Evenings at College Library
During the months of November and April, we hold evening drop-ins at College Library! You can find us on the first floor behind the information desk. Our College Library drop-ins will be Monday-Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
