CCAS Peer Advisors host virtual drop-in sessions for students who have completed SOAR with CCAS in summer 2026. Our CCAS Peer Advisors are current UW-Madison students who are highly-trained to help students with their advising and enrollment questions. After your SOAR advising experience (in-person or virtual), you can attend our virtual drop-ins if you have more questions!
Common topics for virtual drop-ins include:
- Help with selecting and enrolling in courses
- How to add, swap, or drop a course
- Understanding waitlisted courses
- Help using Course Search and Enroll
- Learn where to find exam schedules and textbooks
- Discuss location of courses
- Any other academic questions!
You can also attend more than one drop-in session if you have more questions throughout the summer. We are here to help you during your transition to UW-Madison!
Note: Our Virtual Drop-ins are not available for continuing UW-Madison students or students who completed SOAR with another advising unit.
How to Join Virtual Drop-ins
To access a virtual drop-in session:
- Join our Zoom link: CCAS Virtual Drop-ins Zoom Room. We are only available for virtual drop-ins during our scheduled times below.
- When you enter the Zoom session, you will start in the waiting room and our Peer Advisors will admit you shortly after you join.
