Advisors at the Cross-College Advising Service (CCAS) provide individual academic advising to help undergraduate students develop and successfully follow a plan for choosing a major and exploring careers.
The CCAS main office will be open during winter break, though our residence hall offices will close from December 15, 2016-January 17, 2017. Advisors are available for appointment - please call our main office at 608-265-5460.
The Career Exploration Center (CEC) helps undergraduate students with the process of exploring majors and careers, and the office will soon have a new home. Starting in January, 2017, you can visit the CEC advisors in their new space in 114 Ingraham Hall.
If you are uncertain where to find certain advisors, or want to learn more about all the advising resources available to you on campus, visit the Undergraduate Advising Resources for Students page. Search for advisors, learn about tutoring resources, and find out about great student events happening around campus.
With the start of the semester, CCAS residence hall offices will resume their advising hours. Drop-in advising can be found at all five our of locations (CRC, Dejope, Ogg, Sellery, and Witte) starting Tuesday, September 6.
The last day of Fall instruction is Thursday, December 15. The CCAS residence hall offices will close that day, however advisors will available for appointments in our main office location, 10 Ingraham Hall.
The University's winter break will take place starting December 23-January 16, 2017. CCAS advisors will be available for appointments during winter break, by calling our main office phone number at 608-265-5460.
Spring semester will begin on Tuesday, January 17, and which time the CCAS residence hall offices will open.
