The CEC was excited and honored to have Chancellor Rebecca Blank help us open our new office space with a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration on Monday, January 30. Chancellor Blank praised career services at UW-Madison, noting the important work we have in helping students with critical pieces of their exploration. See the CEC highlight here.

The CEC has Open Study! 

If you're in Ingraham or the near area, come study in our space! During our normal business hours, the CEC has open study in our space any time there are not workshops being held. Stop by Room 114 Ingraham hall and enjoy our new space!


Each semester, the CEC hosts a variety of workshops to help students continue to explore their major and career options. The workshop schedule for Spring, 2017 is available on our workshop page now! Browse our offerings and sign-up today.

Open Study!

If you're in Ingraham, or the surrounding area, and need a comfortable area to sit and study, come to the CEC! Unless there are workshops taking place, the main CEC office is open for open study.

Energetic about the Environment Workshop

This workshop will highlight emerging career opportunities in the clean energy economy for a wide range of disciplines across majors. 

Wednesday, April 12, 3:00-4:00 pm in Room 114, Ingraham Hall
Exploring Majors Regardless of Career

This workshop will explore post-college opportunities, and how to best understand what career might be the right fit for you.
